January 8, 2024 is the deadline for all VBCPS students to submit their applications online and for non-VBCPS students to submit their application to the appropriate coordinator of the program(s) to which they are applying. VBCPS students who wish to apply for an academy program must use the online application process which will be available on Friday, October 13, 2023. To log into the system, please use the following link: https://academyapplication.vbcps.com.

VBCPS students will log in with their VBCPS student credentials to create an initial application and to check on the status of their application throughout the process. For academy selection questions please contact the academy coordinator for the program. Timelines related to the selection and appeal process are available on the Application Timelines web page.

During the selection process, each program will establish a waiting list of students in the event that a student who is offered a position chooses not to accept or transfers prior to the start of the school year. The waiting list will remain active only until the last business day prior to the first day of school. Students must re-apply for consideration for the next school year.
