September 19 - 27, 2023	VDOE Fall Growth Assessment Middle School	Students in grades 6-8 for reading and mathematics.
September 21 - 29, 2023	VDOE Fall Growth Assessment Elementary School	Students in grades 3-5 for reading and mathematics.
October 4, 2023	Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT/NMSQT)	Available to all students in grade 11.
October 23 – 27, 2023	Fall SOL Writing High School	Students completing English 11 4x4 classes in Term 1 and SOL verified credit retakers.
November 27 – December 1, 2023	Fall SOL Writing (Online) High School Second Opportunity	Students who were term graduates for the fall SOL test administration who need the writing SOL test for verified credit; online testing only.
December 4 - 20, 2023	WorkKeys - Business Writing	Students who passed or will pass the grade 11 English course and have taken and failed, at least once, the EOC* writing or reading SOL test.
January 11-12 and 16-17, 2024	Fall SOL Non-Writing High and Middle School	Students completing high school 4x4 classes in Term 1 and MS and HS SOL verified credit retakers.
January 16 - March 22, 2024	English Language Proficiency Test (ACCESS FOR ELLs) Academic Language of the Content Areas (Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking)	English learner students in K-12.
January 18- February 16, 2024	WorkKeys - Reading for Information	Students who passed or will pass the grade 11 English course and have taken and failed, at least once, the EOC* writing or reading SOL test.
February 1-9, 2024	VDOE Winter Growth Assessment	Students in grades 3-8 for reading and mathematics.
March 6, 2024	Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT 10)	Available to all students in grade 10.
March 18 - 22, 2024	Spring SOL Writing High School	Students completing English 11 classes and SOL verified credit retakers.
April 23, 2024	Integrated Reading and Writing Task Elementary, Middle and High School	Students enrolled in grades 5, 8 and 11 English classes will participate in this reading and writing test. The new item type asks students to answer 6 questions and write about what they have read in a nonfiction passage that may include history/social science- or science based content.
April 22 - 26, 2024	Spring SOL Writing (Online) High School Second Opportunity	Students who were term graduates for the spring SOL test administration and who need the writing SOL test for verified credit, online testing only.
April 24 – May 3, 2024	April Term Grad Testing High School	Early testing for high school students in EOC* classes and retakers who are scheduled to graduate by August 2024.
May 1 – June 13, 2024	WorkKeys	Students who passed or will pass the grade 11 English course and have taken and failed, at least once, the EOC* writing and/or reading SOL test.
April 25 – May 17, 2024	International Baccalaureate (IB) Testing	Students completing IB classes during 2023-2024.
May 6 - 17, 2024	Advanced Placement (AP) Testing	Students completing AP classes during 2023-2024.
May 21 - June 5, 2024	Spring SOL Non-Writing Elementary and Middle School	Students completing grades 3 - 8 classes with associated SOL tests.
May 28 - 31, 2024	Spring SOL Non-Writing High School	High school students completing classes with an associated SOL test and SOL verified credit retakers.

*End-of-Course - Students completing an EOC class and need the test for verified credit or as required under ESSA or students who have previously failed an EOC test and need to retake the EOC test for a verified credit.
