Virginia Beach City Public Schools (VBCPS) is bringing exciting enhancements to transportation operations for both families and staff with the Zum technology platform. Proposed School Rezoning Plan
Approved by the School Board on November 26, 2024.
- To continue offering a quality education to Point O'View Elementary School students and accommodate the increase of enrollment and new housing developments in the school zone, Virginia Beach City Public Schools’ Building Utilization Committee (BUC) has proposed rezoning the current district.
- If approved, the plan would affect four current elementary school zones and three current middle school zones and will be implemented in the 2025-2026 school year.
- The FAQ below is designed to keep parents, students and staff informed about the rezoning.
