At its Jan. 14 meeting, the School Board of the City of Virginia Beach elected Kathleen Brown as chair and Carolyn Weems as vice chair. Brown has served on the School Board for two years and Weems for 22 years.

With approximately 650 school buses on the road daily, Virginia Beach City Public Schools accepts applications throughout the year for bus drivers and bus assistants as well as substitute drivers and assistants.
Doctoral Internship Program in Health Service Psychology
VBCPS offers a doctoral psychology internship program in health service psychology for eligible candidates in school psychology, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, and combined psychology programs.
