These measures provide a more detailed view of school quality and student outcomes across the state.
Each school division in Virginia is responsible for the development of a Local Plan that outlines the goals, philosophy, activities, and expected results that structure gifted services. According to the Virginia Department of Education, the Local Plan should demonstrate the division’s compliance with Regulations Governing Educational Services for Gifted Students [VR270-01-0002].
