STUDENTS

Transfer Students

Transfer students will be governed by this regulation.

  1. The student must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and must submit proof of address when registering at the new school.
  2. A pupil who transfers from one school to another school in the school division during the school year will secure a transfer form at the originating school for submission to the receiving school.
  3. Transfers and School Records
    1. Schools may release bona fide copies of records directly to parents, legal guardians, or students who have reached the age of majority. The release copy is to be stamped Unofficial Transcript.
    2. Requests for cumulative records by schools outside the school division will be filled by sending a copy of the student's record. The original record will be filed at the school.
    3. School records will be transferred among schools within the school division along with a copy of the latest report card.
  4. Administrative transfers will be automatically enrolled at the receiving school. The Office of Student Leadership will send a confirming authorization letter to the school.
