U.S. News & World Report recently ranked Kingston Elementary and Old Donation School as the No. 1 elementary and middle schools in Virginia. Old Donation School, which has students in grades two through eight and is the home of the Edward E. Brickell Academy for Advanced Academics & Arts, was also ranked as the No. 2 elementary school in the state.

Steps in our Process:
- Listen - We will gather input from our community through a variety of means.
- Prioritize - Information gathered during the first step of the process will be used to develop a stakeholder survey designed to help identify priorities.
- Design - A representative ad hoc strategic planning committee will take the lead in developing a draft plan for the School Board’s approval. Prior to approval, a public hearing will be held to gather comments on the plan.
