Students from the Advanced Technology Center were able to take advantage of additional learning experiences in technology, thanks to the ATC's partnership with Savant. Through internships with Savant, students are exposed to technically skilled and trained workers, gain valuable field experiences, and are provided with curricular direction and expertise. Staff from Savant share their networking experiences by planning and implementing classroom projects and bringing the logistical side of networking to the students. Savant has also donated routers to the ATC, resulting in availability of these routers for students to check out and use for hands-on activities at home. In addition, students working as interns have been hired as Savant employees after graduation. The real world experiences provided by the partnership of Savant, Ltd. gave ATC students a "leg up" to future careers.
