2001 Exemplary Partnership Award Winner

The Village Church and Williams Elementary School In 1999, The Village Church and Bettie F. Williams Elementary established a partnership to help bring parents and other community members to the technology table. The Church and the school offered Introduction to Computing classes to parents, church members, and other members of the community. These classes helped parents feel greater comfort helping their children with homework and to be more knowledgeable about technology. More than 50 parents and community members have improved their computer skills through this program.
