Partnerships are collaborative efforts between schools and business/military/community organizations. Partnerships help to foster a better understanding of public education and at the same time provide additional resources for students and staff. Currently more than 1300 business/military/community partners collaborate with the Virginia Beach City Public Schools. Projects and activities include mentorships, donations, scholarships, workplace tours, classroom presentations, curriculum development, staff development, and coordination of special events.
