Partners in Education

Partnership Advisory Link (PAL)

The Virginia Beach City Public Schools PAL is composed of school staff and community representatives who meet three times per year. Members are responsible for:

  • serving as advocates for partnerships between our community and our school division;
  • providing strategic direction to system-wide community involvement initiatives;
  • offering input on partnership projects;
  • promoting partnerships throughout the community;
  • expanding the Partners in Education network; and
  • educating and informing our community about opportunities to be involved in public education.
