A PTSA volunteer for over two decades, Janis is playing an “invaluable role” at Cox. Chairing the All-Night Grad Party and Booster Club committees, this volunteer still makes time to be “team mom” for both Cox volleyball teams and attends every game.

Cathie can be found lending a hand at Fairfield almost daily. A PTA Board member, she also helps with the Take Home Reading program, Talent Show, Drama Club, and coordinates the student directory. Many teachers are grateful for Cathie's extra help.

A mother of four, this “hard working, dedicated, self starter” helped the school PTSA exceed its fundraising goal by over $5,000. Sue’s “perseverance and boundless energy” are valued by many at FCHS. They love her Patriot pride!

Known to take home work with her, Glenwood teachers call this volunteer "priceless!" Rosa is "creative, outgoing, generous" and always asks what she can do to help. Bulletin boards, copies, special projects - the Gators say she's "outstanding!"
Great Neck Middle School

While she serves as the Virginia Beach Council PTA President, Heather still spends "countless hours" at Great Neck ensuring the marquee is up to date, helping the band, and volunteering at school activities. Her community volunteerism is valued by many.
Green Run Elementary School

This volunteer's efforts have lead to tens of thousands of dollars in Specialty Fundraising points and funds for Green Run. Fran also oversees the Books are Great program and helps in the library. She is "dependable" and "sets a good example" for all!

Called a “great role model” for parents and students, Mary is a dedicated supporter of the NJROTC and serves on many PTSA committees. The Stallions salute her “commitment and compassion” for working hard to serve students and to better their education.
