Maureen Schugardt
Adult Learning Center

A “valued resource” for the adult learning center, this volunteer gives 12 hours each week to support ESOL (English Speakers of Other Languages) program. Her knowledge of the English language and her rapport with students make her an invaluable asset.

VOY Gerry Liette
Bayside High School

The band’s all here, (and ready), thanks to volunteer Gerry Liette. In charge of thousands of dollars worth of equipment, this detailed oriented parent makes sure that each member of the Bayside High School band is well equipped for every performance.

Advanced Technology Center

An active member of the Advanced Technology Center’s Advisory Council, this engineer from Stihl volunteers
by speaking regularly to high school students about their future careers.  He is an invaluable resource to both students and their parents. Wow!

VOY Isabel Main
Bayside Middle School

A former teacher at Bayside Middle, now dedicated volunteer, Ms. Main understands the needs of the teachers and is ready and willing to be of service to them. Tutoring students for SOLs, she assists in preparing every child
for success.

Alanton Elementary School

A “constant presence” at Alanton, Ms. Lowery is known as a “completely reliable” person and one that can always be depended on to “step up” at a moment’s notice. Her “total humility and quiet dignity” make her a wonderful person to work along side.

VOY Cindy Boswell
Birdneck Elementary School

A "delightful" part of the volunteer team at Birdneck Elementary, Ms. Boswell has logged over 277 hours of service in the school library. Her activities include keeping the library organized and running smoothly! A job well done!

Arrowhead Elementary School

Working tirelessly as Student Recognition Coordinator, this consummate volunteer developed the school-wide Student of the Month Award. The Staff and PTA of Arrowhead are pleased that SHE is now getting some much deserved recognition for a job well done!

Brandon Middle School

Although this consummate volunteer works hard as Membership Chair, raising funds is her expertise!  Because of her dedication, the PTA will award 4 $1,000.00 scholarships!  Her “limitless energy and zeal” are admired by everyone at Brandon.

Bayside Elementary School

From organizing a major fundraiser, to preparing materials for a kindergarten classroom. this consummate volunteer does it all. Willing to help wherever needed, her “sweet disposition and wonderful smile” make her loved by everyone at Bayside Elementary.

VOY Tina Fitzpatrick
Brookwood Elementary School

Besides being a dedicated mother, wife, and nurse, this individual has become a very active volunteer at Brookwood. In charge of programs, she has arranged for assemblies that have not only been educational, but memorable as well.
