Patrick Ocean Lakes High

Since Ocean Lakes High opened eight years ago, Volunteer of the Year Robin Patrick has been an active supporter of the school and its PTSA, serving as president, first and second vice president, chair of the ways and means, hospitality, and Reflections Contest committees, and today as Acting President. Robin's dedication to Ocean Lakes High has continued even as her youngest child graduated and left the school last June. Robin is a kindergarten teacher at Seatack Elementary, a year round school, and spends much of her intersession time volunteering at Ocean Lakes High. During her eight years as a valuable volunteer at the school, Robin has assisted in the main office with mass mailings, chaired the decorations committee for the all night grad party all five years the event has been held, helped with refreshments for receptions for the chorus, band, and honor society, and has been the unofficial team mom for the boys and girls jayvee and varsity soccer teams as well as the jayvee and varsity field hockey teams. For the past three years, she has also baked and sold concessions for eleven days in a row during July's AAU basketball tournament. It's no surprise that when the school's PTSA president was called away to active military duty, the organization turned to Robin to provide leadership in the interim.
