Great Neck Middle Great Neck Middle School is proud to honor Darlene Natale as the school's volunteer of the Year. Darlene has volunteered at Great Neck for five years, chaperoning field trips, proctoring tests, and assisting with after-school programs and material reproduction. Her touch has helped the library in the school's office, with band and strings programs. She is currently both second VP of Great Neck's PTA and secretary of the Cox PTA. Darlene organized the annual School Clean-up Day. She has secured donations from area businesses that were given as rewards to PTA members when they joined the organization. Darlene leadership of the PTA's membership drive resulted in an historic total of nearly 1,000 members. Family memberships doubled under Darlene's watch.
