Orientations and training dates for bus drivers during the 2007-2008 school year
All training is held at the Office of Transportation Services (Training Building) 2650 Leroy Road.

Contracted school bus drivers and assistants working at least 5 hours a day will receive the following benefits:
- A starting salary of $10.86 an hour or $8.83 an hour for a bus
driver assistant
- Comprehensive paid training (classroom and behind-the-wheel)

paid by VBCPS)

- Personal Reasons Leave (2 days per calendar school year)

- General liability insurance within the scope of employment; restrictions apply
(i.e. intentional acts that cause harm are not covered)
