Work Permits

Work permits are available through all high school guidance offices. The high school guidance office has a staff person authorized to issue work permits for those eligible. Both the Intent to Employ and Permission for Employment forms can be obtained at any high school guidance office and must be completed by the employer before a work permit can be issued. Work permits are only issued to children ages 14 and 15 and who currently have a job. Proof of age is required and should be presented along with the Intent to Employ form at the time of issuance.
