Keeping Parents Informed of School and Student Performance

To keep parents informed of school and student performance, the school division will continue to produce and distribute an annual school report card and profile. This report card and profile, available in early 2004, will provide parents with information about their child's school to include: each school's SOL test results for the past three years; current accreditation and AYP status; and staff and student demographic data for the 2002-2003 school year. Each school report card and profile, will be posted on the school division's Web site – www.vbschools.com -- and can be accessed via the homepage under the category “School Data”.
