6A. VIAAA Athletic Administrator of the Year

The School Board is pleased to recognize Lisa Corprew, student activities coordinator at Bayside High School, for being named Athletic Administrator of the Year by the Virginia Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (VIAAA).

The V-I-triple-A honors dedication to the field of athletic administration. Ms. Corprew began her career with Virginia Beach City Public Schools as a teacher assistant at Bayside High School. In 1999, she became the student activities coordinator overseeing the schoolís student organizations and athletic programs.

But, her love of all things ďBaysideĒ began long before her first day of work. Corprew is an alumna of Bayside High and, as such, her Marlin Pride runs deep. Thatís why it is even more exciting for her to win this award for her work the students and staff at B-H-S. Ms. Corprew received her award at the VIAAA State Conference at the end of March.

Please join me in congratulating her for this great accomplishment!
