6A. International School Bus Road-E-O Transit Competition Winner
The School Board is pleased to recognize Tyler Reynolds from the Office of Transportation for his outstanding performance in the International School Bus Road-E-O.
Mr. Reynolds, a seven-year bus driver, placed second in the Transit Bus Category at the 39th Annual International School Bus Driver Safety Competition which was held July 18-19 in Greensboro, North Carolina. Leading up to this award, Mr. Reynolds placed third in the local competition, first in the regional competition, and first in the state competition. 102 of the best bus drivers from throughout the United States and Canada participated in the contest, where drivers had to take their busses through courses and also take a written test. Mr. Reynolds is currently considered to be one of the two most outstanding school bus drivers in the United States and Canada.
