Edward “Ed” Fissinger was elected to the School Board in May 2004. Mr. Fissinger, a financial advisor, has been the owner of an investment services company since 2000. He is a member of the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce and former treasurer and volunteer with Contact of Fayetteville - a crisis help line. Mr. Fissinger earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Pittsburgh. He is married. Both of his children attend Virginia Beach City Public Schools.
