Todd C. Davidson was elected to the School Board in 2006 for his first term. He is currently the Senior Pastor of Piney Grove Baptist Church in Virginia Beach. He is a former teacher, coach, and Dean of Students for the Norfolk Public Schools. In addition to his duties as Senior Pastor, he also serves on the Diversity Task Force for Virginia Beach City Public Schools. Rev. Davidson is a member of the Virginia Beach Interdenominational Ministers’ Alliance and has served on the Minority Achievement Council at First Colonial High School. He is a past member of the national, state, and local education associations and principals' associations. He is currently a member of the Kappa Delta Pi honor society for professional educators. Rev. Davidson holds a master of divinity degree from Virginia Union University and a bachelor of arts degree in government and elementary education from the College of William and Mary. He plans to complete his doctorate of education with special emphasis in educational policy, planning, and leadership at The College of William and Mary in May 2007. Rev. Davidson is married with one preschool-aged daughter.
