Unique Features
- Large space frame canopy over the new entrance to the school (the space frame is the structure that supports the large roof on the concrete columns; it looks a little like an erector set or tinker toys).
- A second courtyard was created between the new administration suite and the existing classroom wing. The lobby and corridor have a view of the courtyard through large windows.
- Wall mosaic made up of individual tiles that the students (and some staff) created.
- Wall murals of horses (the school mascot) by a local artist.
- Electrically controlled doors at the entrance and at the media center for the students with special needs.
