Teacher Orientation & Continuous Learning Institute
Overview
In 1999, the annual Teacher Orientation and Continuous Learning Institute (TOCLI) was created to welcome teachers new to Virginia Beach City Public Schools (VBCPS). TOCLI includes summer orientation, mentorship, new teacher monthly support clinics and support for planning professional growth.
TOCLI Summer Orientation dates are August 24-27, 2009, at Tallwood High and times vary each day. TOCLI is a contractual obligation and all new teachers to Virginia Beach are required to attend.
