Virginia Beach City Public Schools will host its Annual Service Awards Dinner for division employees with 25, 30, 35, 40 and 45 years of service. The event will be held tonight at 6:00 p.m. at the Virginia Beach Convention Center, 1000 19th Street. A total of 143 employees have worked in the school system for the years being recognized at this evening’s dinner.

At the dinner, special recognition will honor nine employees who each have achieved 40 years of service with Virginia Beach City Public Schools.
 
The Annual Service Awards Dinner is only one facet of VBCPS’ Employee Recognition Program. Under the program, the school division also recognizes employees who have reached 5, 10, 15, and 20 years of service.
