Students of the Global Studies and World Languages Academy at Tallwood High School will participate in a Chinese New Year celebration on Sunday, January 18, at the Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library located at 4100 Virginia Beach Boulevard.
Beginning at 4:30 p.m., students who are studying Chinese language and culture at the academy will present songs and a skit describing the journey of American students venturing to China to learn Chinese.
