Middle school sports enthusiasts have access to a new feature -- Middle School Sports Central – now available on vbschools.com which provides access to all schedules and standings for the Virginia Beach Middle School League. This convenient resource, making its debut for the 2008-2009 school year, allows middle school sports fans quick access to team scores and standings soon after the completion of the actual sport event for boys and girls enrolled in grades six, seven, and eight.

In addition to the availability of all schedules and standings, Middle School Sports Central has a feature that will notify subscribers, via e-mail or cell phone, if a game or match is postponed.  Each of the 14 middle school Student Activity Coordinators (SACs) will be responsible for updating the schedules, posting scores, and notifying subscribers of postponed games.
