The Virginia Beach School Board will hold its next regular meeting on Tuesday,  October 16, at the School Administration Building. The informal meeting will convene at  4:30 p.m. in the einstein.lab. A Workshop will be held addressing non-school based organization/realignment. A closed meeting will follow to discuss personnel matters.

The Hearing of Citizens and Delegations on Non-Agenda Items during an informal meeting will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. in the School Board Room. The formal meeting, which will be broadcast live on VBTV Channel 47, begins at 6:15 p.m. and includes student, employee and public awards and recognition, and a hearing of citizens and delegations. A second workshop will be held after the vote on remaining action items to discuss the Board Goals Program of Work and the Board Strategic Planning Goal. The current meeting agenda and supporting documents are available for public review on the School Division’s Web site.
