Student Progress Reported Quarterly Report cards for all Virginia Beach students will be issued each nine weeks during the 2001-2002 school year. The reporting periods are the same for elementary and secondary students, except for a slight difference in dates for the issuing of the final report card. Report cards for schools on the traditional calendar will be issued as follows: First nine weeks: November 14, 2001 Second nine weeks: January 31, 2002 Third nine weeks: April 11, 2002 Fourth nine weeks: June 20, 2002 Final secondary reports will be mailed home to all students on June 20, 2002. Informal progress reports will be issued to all students on October 4, 2001, and February 28, 2002. On December 12, 2001, and May 8, 2002, informal progress reports will be issued only to students performing below expected levels. Report cards for Seatack and Bettie F. Williams elementary schools, both year-round schools, will be issued as follows: First nine weeks: October 23, 2001 Second nine weeks: January 17, 2002 Third nine weeks: April 16, 2002 Fourth nine weeks: June 20, 2002 Final secondary reports will be mailed home to all students on June 20, 2002. Informal progress reports will be issued to all students on August 31, 2001, and February 22, 2002. On November 20, 2001, and May 14, 2002, informal progress reports will be issued only to students performing below expected levels.
