COMMUNITY RELATIONS

Awards to Students

The school board approves of community sponsored awards for students who achieve high academic standing, outstanding citizenship, physical expertise and other characteristics that will make them better citizens. The school board, however, does not approve of giving awards to students where the basic purpose is commercialism, or incentives in fund raising or promotional drives.
