COMMUNITY RELATIONS

Soliciting Funds from Students

1. Generally

   In general, the schools shall not be used as fundraising agencies for outside organizations. Principals may permit the solicitation of voluntary contributions and/or memberships from students providing such actions are deemed to be of educational value.

2. Emergencies and Disasters

   The Superintendent may approve the solicitation of voluntary contributions to local fund drives when these drives are of an emergency nature or are for disasters that have a strong emotional effect on the community.
