COMMUNITY RELATIONS
Community Involvement/Volunteers: Mentorship Program
- Generally
The Department of Media and Communications Development through its Office of Community Relations, will support the development and implementation of school-based mentorship programs for students.
- Objectives
- To provide opportunities for students to obtain necessary social skills;
- To provide opportunities for students to participate in a variety of activities to which they might otherwise not be exposed;
- To connect students to positive role models and motivational programs that will positively impact the student;
- To improve student attendance;
- To provide opportunities for students to understand business, the skills needed to succeed in the work place and career choices.
