COMMUNITY RELATIONS

Communications from the Public

Generally

Communications from the public, including petitions, shall receive official recognition by the school board only when submitted with signatures and places of residence. Communications and petitions shall be submitted under the time frame as established in school board bylaw 1-39. No anonymous communications shall be considered.

Except in emergencies the board shall not attempt to decide upon any question before examining and evaluating the information any person requests the board to consider. The superintendent shall be given an opportunity to examine and evaluate all such information and to recommend action before the board attempts to make a decision.
