INSTRUCTION
Interscholastic Competition
- Generally
All athletic, forensic, debating, public speaking, reading, and school publication activities shall be conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations established by the Virginia High School League and the Virginia Beach Middle School League, and School Board Policy and Regulation.
The School Board recognizes that it has final responsibility for all interscholastic activities and encourages these activities for the overall development of the student.
- Elementary
Competitive sports of a varsity nature are prohibited as a part of the elementary school program.
