INSTRUCTION

Social Studies

The School Board believes that an educated, informed, and enlightened citizenry is essential to the continuation of a domestic republic. The knowledge, skills, and understandings of Social Studies shape the attitude necessary for responsible and compassionate citizens. The program is committed to help young people appreciate their historic and cultural heritage and the culture of others, as well as comprehend developments in an ever-changing society and world.
