Regulation 4-28.1

Firearms and Weapons

Employees of the School Board may not carry firearms or weapons of any kind on school premises, school buses, or at any school-sponsored function or extra curricular activity.

The provisions of this regulation shall not apply to persons who possess such weapon(s) or firearms as a part of the school’s curriculum or activities sponsored by the school or any organization permitted by the School Board to use its premises or a person possessing a knife customarily used for food preparation or service in the performance of his/her duties and responsibilities and using it for such purpose as a hand tool.
