ADMINISTRATION

Superintendent: Evaluation

At its last meeting each fiscal year the school board shall evaluate the performance of the superintendent. The evaluation shall be conducted on the basis of open cooperation between the board and the superintendent. This evaluation should include, but not be limited to, the following:

1.  The effectiveness of the superintendent's leadership.

2.  The accomplishment of reasonable objectives outlined and agreed to in advance by both the board and administrator.

The evaluation shall be formal in that some mutually agreeable method or instrument shall be used. The personal views of the board members may be included as part of the evaluation.
