ADMINISTRATION
Administrative Salary Schedule
A. Generally
The school board shall adopt and annually review a system of compensation for administrative employees. Compensation should be based upon the responsibilities required in the job description for the position and the employee's experience and training.
The board shall adopt a salary range for each administrative position. The employee's advancement within the salary range for his/her position shall be determined annually by the board upon the recommendation of the superintendent. The recommendation for advancement shall be based upon the evaluation of the employee's performance in meeting the requirements in the job description, experience, training and other considerations defined by the superintendent.
B. Employees New in a Position
Newly appointed administrative employees will be placed on the appropriate salary schedule commensurate with their experience and training, upon approval of the superintendent.
