Department Chairpersons
A. Appointment
High school principals are authorized to appoint members of the teaching staff to act as department chairpersons.
B. Duties and Responsibilities
The principal shall establish duties and responsibilities for these positions.
C. Remuneration
Remuneration for department chairpersons shall be in salary supplements based upon individual work loads as determined annually by the school board.
