ADMINISTRATION
Coordinators: Title IX/Section 504/ADA Coordinator
A. Primary Functions
To assure division compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1971 (sex discrimination) regulations for student programs and personnel employment policies and practices.
To assure division compliance with Section 504 (handicap discrimination) of the Rehabilitative Act of 1973, as amended.
To assure division compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
B. Appointment
The superintendent shall appoint a member or members of the administrative staff to perform these functions.
C. Duties and Responsibilities
The superintendent shall be responsible for developing and maintaining an appropriate job description under the guidelines established in board policy 2-13.
