Eliminate barriers that prevent homework success

Teens often stumble over a few familiar hurdles when doing homework. Parents can help. If your teen isn't doing homework or turning it in, have him make a to-do list and check items off. If he doesn't care about homework, motivate him by praising his efforts, even before he finishes. If he takes too much time to complete homework, he may not understand it. Encourage him to ask the teacher for help. Read more here.
