Food Services Substitute Orientation Information Sessions Information and Requirement

All food services substitute applicants are required to complete a Virginia Beach City Public Schools' employment application and attend an orientation session.

• All orientation sessions are held at VBCPS School Administration Annex Building #16, 2435 Princess Anne Road, across from the McDonalds and 7-11 in the Municipal Center.
• Orientation is held every Thursday at 8:30 a.m. and will last approximately 2 hours. Please arrive no later than 8:15 a.m. to allow sufficient time to sign in.
• Registration is NOT required.
• All substitutes must bring to the orientation session two (2) documents verifying the right to work in the United States as required by the Immigration and Control Act. Only ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS listed on the List of Acceptable Documents will be accepted.
• All requirements and procedures will be reviewed during the orientation sessions.
• Upon completion of the application process Human Resources will notify the Department of Food Services. A staff person will then notify you as to the date, time, and location of training.
