Applications for Food Service Cafeteria Assistant Substitutes are sought continuously throughout the year. The process begins by completing an on-line employment application. Employment applications can be submitted using any computer with Internet access, including a computer at your local library. Completed applications will be reviewed. Applicants selected to substitute, will be contacted for an interview. All substitute applicants must have a level of education necessary for reading and following written instructions. This position requires moderate physical work (i.e. lifting up to 50 pounds), and continuous standing. Qualified applicants are placed on the Food Services substitute list and are called to temporarily fill vacancies and absences. Full and part-time contracted Food Services positions are filled by qualified applicants from the substitute list. The hourly rate for substitutes is $8.49 per hour, with a variety of day shifts available Monday through Friday. |
