Just like every other eighth grader in the city, I am currently faced with the dilemma of deciding where to attend high school. I am most definitely and confidently continuing with the International Baccalaureate Program at Princess Anne High School.
I can honestly say that the Middle Years Program has truly prepared me for high school academically. Students carefully analyze topics and concepts and readily connect one topic to many others, showing a higher level of understanding of the rich ideas and thoughts in the background. Learning to look at all aspects of a concept will allow one to develop a sense of inquiry and curiosity and will allow them to start reflecting these approaches to learning in their everyday lives through school, career and beyond.
My future goals range from keeping a consistent straight-A report card until the end of this year to graduating high school with an IB diplomas and a ticket to Princeton University.
