The mission of the educational technology program is to enable, encourage, and support the effective integration of technology as a tool for teaching and learning.

In an effort to align our practices with national standards (Information Power: Building Partnerships for Learning, ALA 1998) and the Virginia Standards of Learning, the educational technology program developed the following Essential Information Literacy Skills. These skills will enable our students to become independent, information-literate, lifelong learners.
