FOREIGN LANGUAGES

Grades 9-12

The study of foreign languages is essential for students to be able to communicate their thoughts and ideas with peoples of different nationalities and ethnic groups. Language studies also contribute to students' respect for individuals, their cultural differences, the interdependence of people, and the contributions of other cultures to the development of our own nation and culture.

Courses in individual foreign languages taken in the middle grades will count toward fulfilling graduation requirements.
