The classroom driver education course is offered as part of the tenth grade health education curriculum in all senior high schools. When students complete the classroom phase and have secured a learner's permit, they then may take behind-the-wheel driver instruction. The fee for behind-the-wheel instruction is $219. To get a learner's permit, students must pick up a Proof of Enrollment form from the guidance office.
