High School Competition Schedules

The 2012-2013 schedule is available. All athletic and academic high school schedules are only available through the online scheduling program Beach District.

To locate the schedule for any competition, select the high school of your choice found on the homepage of Beach District.

School Club Teams at the High School Level

With the start of the 2011-2012 school year, there will be a few changes to the operation of the school club teams. These changes should not impact the opportunities for students to compete with other students on like teams in other schools in the state or at the national level. The changes focus on student safety. Specific information about these change is available for review.

The Locker Room

The Locker Room features the talented student athletes, coaches, and fans of Virginia Beach City Public Schools' varsity football program. Weekly segments include game clips and interviews from each of the division's weekly high school varsity football games. The Locker Room will return in September 2012.

Virginia Beach Middle School League Semester Rule

For all students whose first year in middle school was after the 2006-07 school year:
The student shall not have been enrolled in middle school for a period of more than six consecutive semesters, beginning with the semester in which he/she was enrolled for the first time in the sixth grade. The six consecutive semesters shall be counted continuously from that point, regardless of whether or not he/she remains continuously enrolled.

For all students whose first year in middle school was prior to the 2007-08 school year:
The student may not participate in the same activity more than three (3) seasons while enrolled in grades six, seven, and eight. This rule also applies to transfer students. Example: The student may not participate in baseball more than three (3) seasons in any school division while enrolled in grades six, seven, and eight.
