Deciding to return to college, at age thirty-one, to earn my Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education was one of the smartest things I have ever done.  Entering the teaching profession as a mature adult has given me the insight, knowledge, and the experience to become a teacher that makes a difference.  The learning environment in my classroom enables all students to learn to the best of their ability, and that does make a difference.
