Nancy A. Hildebrandt ESOL, Adult Learning Center 15 years of service to VBCPS (29 years total) I teach English for Speakers of Other Languages because language is what holds us together as a people; it creates trust and identity. I teach foreign-born adults, so they can communicate with their children, survive in their new homeland, and respect the laws and liberty of our country. My reward is passing on the gift of language which will enable my students to become participating Americans.
